1. I have completed my PKMC qualification. What are my next steps should I choose to pursue a qualification in the new CB Framework?

You may complete the Professionalism and Ethics (PET) module and select 2 of the 3 modules offered in Level 3 of the new CB Framework.

2. I was pursuing the PKMC qualification but did NOT complete it. What options do I have should I choose to pursue a qualification in the new CB Framework?

You may complete the PET module and select 1 of the specialised modules in Level 2 of the new CB Framework.

3. I have completed the PB qualification. What are the next steps if I intend to progress to Level 3 of the new CB Framework?

You are required to complete the PET module before progressing to Level 3 of the new CB Framework.

4. I am an existing BRM candidate. Once I have completed the qualification, what would be my membership designation and transition options?

You are required to complete the PET module before progressing to Level 3 of the new CB Framework. Upon completion of the PET module, Associate members are eligible to use the Associate Chartered Banker designation and must adhere to the CPD requirements.

5. I have completed the BCP qualification. What is my progression pathway from BCP to the new CB Framework?

You are required to complete the PET module before progressing to Level 3 of the new CB Framework. Upon completion of the PET module, Associate members are eligible to use the Associate Chartered Banker designation and must adhere to CPD requirements.

6. May I transition to Level 3 of the new CB Framework if I did NOT complete the modules under Level 3 of the current framework within the given time frame?

Yes, you may progress to Level 3 of the new CB Framework as your current CB module passes will be recognised, and you will need to complete the outstanding CB modules under the new CB Framework.

If you have:

  • completed the Professionalism, Ethics and Regulations (PER) module under the current framework, you must complete 2 modules under Level 3 of the new CB Framework.
  • completed 1 module but NOT the PER module under current framework, you must complete the PET module before completing 1 module under Level 3 of the new CB Framework.
  • completed the PER module AND 1 other module under the current framework, you must complete only 1 module under Level 3 of the new CB Framework.
  • completed 2 modules under the current framework but NOT the PER module, you must complete the PET module.
  • NOT completed any modules under the current framework, you must complete the PET module AND 2 modules under the new CB Framework.
