Test Centres Unable to Conduct Online Exams Due to Nationwide Phase 1 Total Lockdown

31 May 2021

Following the 28 May 2021 announcement by the Prime Minister’s Office on the nationwide Phase 1 Total Lockdown, kindly note that test centres are unable to conduct online exams from 1 to 14 June 2021. You would have received an email from Pearson VUE regarding this matter.

As such, we advise members to reschedule their exams to a later date. Additionally, as it is uncertain whether the lockdown will end on 14 June 2021 or be extended, we encourage members to take their exams via remote proctoring.

If you intend to reschedule your exam to a later date, you may do so by following the steps below:

  1. Log in to CBI portal here.
  2. Locate the name of the exam under the “Upcoming Appointments”.
  3. Click on the “Reschedule” link.
  4. Follow the steps to select the new date and time.
  5. Review your selection and click on “Confirm Reschedule” at the final step.
  6. Check your email inbox for the confirmation email on your rescheduling.

If you intend to take your exam via remote proctoring, you are required to cancel your initial exam booking and make a new exam booking. To cancel your exam booking, please follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to the CBI portal here.
  2. Locate the name of the exam under the “Upcoming Appointments”.
  3. Click on the “Cancel” link.
  4. Click on the checkbox to confirm that you have read and agreed to the Cancellation Policy.
  5. Click on the “Confirm Cancellation” button.
  6. Check your email inbox for the confirmation email on the cancellation.
  7. Make a new exam booking using the same process for exam bookings.

Kindly reschedule or cancel your booking and make a new exam booking at least 48 hours before your exam session.

For enquiries, please contact our Member Services team at [email protected] or call 1300-88-6833 / 03-2602 6833.

Thank you.
