In line with our efforts to raise awareness of responsible banking, this initiative was in partnership with the Chartered Banker Institute (CBI), UK, and the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA).

The discussion featured Giles Gunesekera, who is recognised for his early advocacy of Impact Investing and ESG by the United Nations. CBI CEO Simon Thompson, who is also the author of Green and Sustainable Finance: Principles and Practice, and the co-chair of the UK’s Green Finance Education Charter initiative moderated the session.

The webinar explored how Australia and the UK progressed in this space and how they compared globally on green and sustainable finance, responsible lending, and financial inclusion.
