AICB was delighted to host our inaugural AICB Regional Members' Dinner on 15 October 2024 at G Hotel, Penang, to recognise and celebrate the contributions of our esteemed members from the northern region of Malaysia.
In addition to an exciting night of good food, great entertainment and plenty of networking opportunities with fellow members of the banking industry, a special session on “Future-Proofing Banking: The Imperative of Operational Resilience” by subject matter experts from Oliver Wyman provided an in-depth look at operational resilience for financial institutions across local and international trends. Maksim Ryabukhin, Partner, Financial Services Practice Group and Jonas Heckmann, Principal, Southeast Asia Lead for Anti-Financial Crime Platform and NFR Expert shared valuable insights on the significance of operational resilience in today’s complex risk environment, emerging threats in this space, and industry best practices in regulatory compliance and resilience-building, to enhance the effectiveness of financial institutions’ operational resilience programmes.
