AICB and EY organised the Budget 2025 Tax Updates webinar on 26 November 2024 to equip banking professionals with a better understanding of the recently tabled Budget. Facilitated by Bernard Yap, Partner, Ernst & Young Tax Consultants Sdn Bhd and Malaysia EY Private Tax Leader, discussions focused on key highlights of the newly tabled Budget 2025 and the recently announced policies, along with other key trends impacting businesses in the coming months. The session also offered insight into the Budget's implications on the banking industry and the key areas of relevance to bankers, and addressed the tax concerns of banking professionals. Over 140 banking professionals attended the webinar.
