AICB is proud to be a supporting partner of the Annual Banking Conference 2024 organised by the Chartered Banker Institute, UK, which was held virtually over two days. Discussions focused on the overarching theme, "Optimising Banking in a Digital Age: People, Professionalism and Technology", and explored the following topics:

• the importance of building a responsible banking culture as we navigate AI-driven technology
• the role of bank leaders in driving responsible banking
• upskilling and reskilling the banking workforce, ensuring high standards of ethical professionalism, and embracing technology
• enhancing inclusiveness in banking to attract and retain customers and deliver products and services that meet their needs, and
• making organisations more intelligent and enhancing ethical leadership and decision-making in the age of AI.  

AICB Chief Executive Edward Ling delivered the keynote address, and the conference was attended by over 500 banking professionals.
