At AICB and Deloitte’s webinar collaboration on 25 Nov 2021 @ 10 am, speakers Abhishek Chatterjee, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Tookitaki, Singapore; Robin Lee, Head of APAC at Napier, Singapore; and Jackie Mohandas Babani, Chief Compliance Officer of Hong Leong Bank Berhad shared their views on the current inefficiencies in traditional AML processes and how technology is a rising gamechanger in reducing these inefficiencies and supporting the compliance framework. They gave some examples of instances where new FCC technology were implemented successfully, but also discussed the threats that may arise with such implementations. The session was moderated by Radish Singh, Partner – Forensic, Financial Crime Compliance Leader – SEA, Deloitte Financial Advisory Services, Singapore, and attended by over 100 individuals.
