AICB is proud to be a supporting partner of the Financial Times Live 2024 Global Banking Summit: Leading Through Disruption, which was held on 3–4 December 2024 at Convene Sancroft, St Paul’s, London. This hybrid Summit convened the world's top investment, retail and corporate banking leaders, and top influencers in policy, business and economics, to discuss several top-line themes dominating discourse across geopolitics, economics, technology, climate, global business and investment.

From board-level insights and CEO interviews to interactive sessions on customer experience and the battle for talent, the Summit offered unparalleled networking opportunities for banking professionals, investors, FinTechs and other operators within financial services.

Discussions at the event canvassed the views of banking leaders on the threats emanating from conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East and the complex US-China relationship, the effect of successive rate cuts on current bank valuations and the economy, and banks’ evolving modernisation process in response to change customer preferences for personalised service. Over 500 professionals attended the Summit.
