AICB, together with its Human Resource Networking Group (HRNG), held its first Leaders Discourse event, themed “Reinventing a Sustainable Workforce of the Future” on 9 March 2023 at Bangunan AICB. The stellar line-up of speakers included:

with the keynote address delivered by UK award-winning futurist, and innovation and strategy expert, Matthew Griffin.

The edifying and engaging knowledge-sharing session saw participants gaining further insight into the evolving human capital landscape and the importance of technology and sustainability in building a future-proof workforce, strengthening the employee value proposition, and enhancing staff well-being. Topics discussed included:

  • Forces shaping the human capital landscape
  • Sustainability in the human space — role of leaders in driving sustainability in an organisation
  • Organisational perspectives on how HR leaders are evolving and navigating businesses through the changing tides

  • Organising the HR function better to deliver a realistic and compelling employee value proposition
  • Driving an effective employee well-being strategy.

The event attracted close to 150 banking professionals across 30 financial institutions.
