Following the recent Pre-COP16 (Biodiversity) / COP29 (Climate) Briefing session held recently in October 2024, the Post-COP16 (Biodiversity) / COP29 (Climate) Review session was held to discuss climate and nature crises within the contexts of COP16 (biodiversity) and COP29 (climate) following the conclusion of COP29 on 22 November 2024.

The webinar, which is part of the GEFI Insights Series*, delved into the key outcomes and achievements from COP16 and COP29. With presentations from knowledge partners Planet Tracker (COP16) and Carbon Tracker Initiative (COP29), followed by an open discussion with COP experts from the finance sector, the webinar provided participants with a better understanding of the key outcomes and achievements from COP16 and COP29, and the main challenges and significant developments ahead in biodiversity and climate action.
