Director-General, International Institute of Green Finance (IIGF)Central University of Finance and Economics, China
Prof. Wang Yao is the Director General of the International Institute of Green Finance at the Central University of Finance and Economics. She serves as the Deputy Secretary-General of the Green Finance Committee, China Society for Finance & Banking, and is an advisor for the Green Development Committee of the Securities Association of China. Her research in the green economy and sustainable finance is highly influential, encompassing over 120 published papers, leading more than 100 research projects, and authoring 34 monographs. She was awarded the “Outstanding Contribution Award” in 2019 at the Annual China Excellent Green Finance Awards of Asian Money. She is also a member of the Sustainable Finance Advisory Panel of the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).

Edward Ling is an accomplished business leader in the financial sector, responsible for the growth and sustainability of AICB. He chairs the Future Skills Framework committee, developing Malaysia’s first future skills framework for the financial sector. Before joining AICB in 2021, Edward held leadership roles at ACCA, including Regional Portfolio Head and Country Head of ACCA Malaysia. He received the Chief Executive’s Award in 2017 and holds an MBA in Operations Management from the University of North Texas.
Chief Sustainability OfficerAmBank (M) Berhad
Amanah Aboobucker is the Chief Sustainability Officer of AmBank Group. She leads the development and integration of group-wide sustainability and climate risk strategy for the bank, enabling sustainable finance and responsible banking.
She is a senior banker with extensive multi-geography and cross functional experience, having covered businesses in Malaysia, Singapore and major markets of the Asia Pacific.
She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and holds the ‘Advanced Certificate in Integrated Sustainability for a Future Ready Business’ from the Singapore Management University (SMU). She is a Chartered Banker and has worked with KPMG and Citigroup previously.
Amanah is a member of the Joint Committee of Climate Change (JC3), co-chaired by Bank Negara Malaysia and the Securities Commission Malaysia, contributing to various sub-committees and working groups, notably on Governance and Disclosures, the SME Focus Group as well as the Climate Finance Innovation Lab.
Managing Director, Senior Banker & Head of Investment BankingOCBC Bank (Malaysia) Berhad
An experienced and progressive banker, Tan Ai Chin is a member of OCBC Malaysia's Management Executive Committee and sits on the Board of several companies including BOS Wealth Management Malaysia Berhad. She is a member of the ESG Committee at Association of Banks Malaysia.
Under her leadership, OCBC Malaysia led-arranged landmark transactions for GLCs and conglomerates, delivering comprehensive solutions in loan syndications, bonds, and M&A advisory. Ai Chin is committed to advancing ESG best practices among corporates and GLCs.
She has been a speaker/panellist at forums by Bank Negara, World Bank and other reputable institutions. Her contributions to sustainable finance have earned OCBC Malaysia multiple accolades including Sustainable Energy Financing Awards by Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, ESG Business Awards and other international recognition for green financing initiatives.
