The PRB Academy has been developed by the Chartered Banker Institute, the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEP FI), and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).

Each one of the unique, leading-edge training programmes has been designed by industry experts in consultation with banks worldwide. Each training course offers approximately 10 hours of learning time, with interactive, guided self-study throughout and no formal entry requirements.
